Lobe Clips featuring a pair of Gia Certified Trapiche Colombian Emeralds weighing 5.62ct + 5.74ct in fancy cabochon cut.
Trapiche emerald is a rare variety of the gemstone emerald, characterized by a six-pointed radial pattern of ray-like spokes. The name comes from the Spanish trapiche, a sugar mill, because of the resemblance of the pattern to the spokes of a grinding wheel.
These earrings, inspired by the Art Deco Era, feature a pair of these rare Colombian beauties. Held in suspension against a wall of hand carved enamel and crowned by a “diamond burst” of pear shaped diamonds opposite a shield step cut diamond.
